Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine and a whole bunch of other characters belong to
Lucas and his team. Darth Eagle in my own creation so I own her (she’s me
anyway).
Author's Notes: I want to give my character a background story and came out with
this one day in the bus. And thanks for my friend for being late; I managed to
pen the beginning up.
Timeline: 19 years prior to ANH (3 years after SWEp3)
Darth
Vader existed from the palace’s turbolift. In front of him lies the outer
entrance to Emperor Palpatines’ private chamber. Two Imperial Royal Guards
stood unmoving at the entrance, their crimson robe betraying no movement
beneath. Their faceless mask shows no emotion but Vader could sense their
feelings. Up most loyalty to the Emperor and his New Order, he is assured.
Vader
hesitated. His master had called for Vader to be in his presence suddenly. No
reason was given, just an order to come to his master private chamber in the
Imperial Palace.
“Enter, my
apprentice,” Palpatine called out to his loyal apprentice through the Force.
Vader entered the chamber.
Through two more well guarded door and he came into the presence of his powerful
master. Palpatine was typing something into his datapad. Could it be some new
knowledge on the power of the Sith, Vader wondered?
“ What is my biding, my
master?”
“Aaa . . .Lord Vader.
Come, come. I have something important to tell you.”
Palpatine gestured at
Vader to be at his side. Vader obeyed obediently.
“ The golden age of the
Sith is here again. The whole universe is within my dark control now while the
Jedi Knights Legacy is in ruin. All thanks to you, isn’t it my apprentice?”
“ Indeed my master. In
time, all lifeforms will do to our biding and every traces of the Jedi Knights
will be annihilated permanently.”
“Yes, true, true.
Therefore, I have a new assignment for you. As I had foreseen, the time had come
for our order to break away from the ways of the old. Away from the ways set by
Lord Bane some 2,000 years ago.”
“ You are implying, my
master?”
“ Lord Vader, I want you
to train a new apprentice. There is no need anymore for our order to remain at
two. Find an apprentice that is powerful in the Force yet still a virgin as how
you were found. Train him well in the ways of the Sith, as I had train you. In
time, he shall be a great asset to us. In time, he shall wipe off all traces of
the Jedi Knights and their pathetic order in the universe and enforced order,
our New Order in my Empire . . . . . ”
Vader try to absorb what
Palpatine had just said. A new Sith apprentice? He, the new Dark Lord of The
Sith, given the honor to train another in the ways of the great Sith?
“ I know what you are
thinking, my apprentice . . . .” Palpatine said out of the silent.
“ What about the news
that the remaining Jedi Masters and Knights hiding on Nespin VIII? Are we to
leave them non-annihilated?”
“ They should be of no
concern to you now, my apprentice. Those pathetic Jedi are small in number. They
had been weakened and they are in no strength to rebel against us. In time, they
too shall be annihilated.”
“Yes, my master. And
when should I start?”
“Immediately. I leave
the choice of candidate to you. But, ensure that he is very powerful in the ways
of the Force. And make sure he is human. Hard to find another like my previous
apprentice, Darth Maul”

The urchin stood on the deserted rooftop. Her dirty, messy
green hair blew freely into her dirty face. Her dirty face feel cool as the
night wind blew above her.
The night air smell of pure opportunity. Opportunity for
survival. Below her, the beggars and night wanderers roam the night street
silently, scavenging for mean of survival. They were like her. They were the
lost ones, abandoned a long time ago among the lower depths of Coruscant’s
surface. Places where no normal Coruscants will wander.
She scratches through her
messy, long hair. They were very dirty, hasn’t been washed in a very long
time. A solo braid peeks from beneath her hair, half hidden behind her right
ear.
She was alone on this
world. No family, no friends. She don’t even remember having one or even
living in a real house. There was a mind block in her mind. She touches the scar
on her temple. They had been there since her loss.
And she couldn’t even
remember her real age or name. Wasn’t she seven now, or was it ten. The only
thing she could ever remember from her past was images of chaos and death. A
great fire. A massive explosion. Men, women and children dropping dead before
her vary eyes. And a dark man holding a bloody sword coming out of the chaos of
death. And she, plunging into the abyss, later crawling her way out of the lower
depths of Coruscant. Pain, splitting headaches and seeing her own crimson blood
in the palm of her hands.
No . . . those are the
memory she doesn’t want to remember. She
looked at the rags she was wearing. They used to be light brown but now have
turned a dull gray through years of hardship and savaging the streets.
Bloodstains patches can be seen on certain parts of the tunic.
She senses something.
Someone is approaching her position. Who could it possibly be? Nobody had ever
entered this building, not since the Republic falls. He’s coming closer to her
position now. She senses much anger and aggression in him. And something else .
. . a great sense of . . . loss.
No, her presence here must not be seen She ran towards the water tank room. Yes,
there she would hide till he leaves.
